Hi,
Where do you guys buy your bulk honey? I found this on the internet when checking prices: Tell me if you think this is a good deal or not.
"Mead Makers Special, 5 gallon/60Lbs of a light amber summer wildflower honey, $125 Each or 3 or more for $100 each."
I called them up. They are in New Hampshire. The shipping per box is $40.48 each. therefore, 3 or more just add more shipping. This comes to 33.10 per gallon or 2.76 per lb. for the 5 gal. Or, 28.10 per gal for the 3 or more.
It seemed to be a good price. Stlwine&beer is $40.00/12lbs; others on the internet ranged from 32 to 42 before S&H.
I Don't need 5 gal. Anyone want to go in on a purchase?
